As she walked home after work, a song replayed itself in her mind
"What I'm searching for to tell it straight, I'm trying to build a wall Walking by myself down avenues that reek of time to kill..." Someone grabbed her shoulder and she spun around. A camera bulb flashed in the dark. "Sorry" he said sheepishly, "I just couldn't help myself." ------- First off, I adore that song. I listen to it on repeat non-stop. [link] I thought this idea up after I finished memoirs of a geisha(big surprise there). The little blip of a story at the top is to explain why she is in a different light than the rest of the scene. I wanted it to seem as if she was the subject of a photo. Anyway, this took way too long. Big thanks to [link] for her amazing stock. And yes, I know the scan is terrible, the original is 18x24. The peacock feathers are not cut off in the original as well. It's midnight and I have to be up at 6am tomorrow, goodnight! |
